Terms & Conditions

By creating an account, installing the Droppnotes Chrome extension, or otherwise using the Droppnotes web application and related services (together, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company, and “you” refers to that company.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Service.

Droppnotes lets you and your invited collaborators drop pinned comments on web pages — capturing a screenshot, page URL, browser details, and screen size — and manage that feedback from a shared dashboard. The Service consists of the Droppnotes web app, the Chrome extension, and supporting APIs.

We may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves. Where a change materially reduces functionality of a paid plan, we will notify you in advance.

When you create and use an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current account information.
• Keep your credentials secure and take responsibility for activity on your account.
• Be at least 16 years old.
• Notify support@greyfeathers.io promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for an unlawful purpose.
• Upload or share content you do not have the right to use, including confidential material.
• Post content that is defamatory, harassing, infringing, or malicious.
• Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities, bypass authentication, or access data that is not yours.
• Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without our written consent.
• Use automated systems to create accounts or comments at an abnormal volume.

The Droppnotes overlay does not modify the websites you review. You remain responsible for ensuring your use of those websites and the feedback you collect complies with applicable law and confidentiality obligations.

You retain ownership of screenshots, comments, recordings, uploads, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, display, and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

You are responsible for your content and for having the rights needed to submit it. We do not claim ownership of it or use it for advertising. We may remove content that violates these terms or the law.

• A project owner controls its members, data, and deletion.
• Project members can see the names, avatars, and feedback shared in that project.
• Deleting a project or account is permanent once the applicable recovery period ends.

• Droppnotes is free to start, and the free plan does not require payment details.
• Paid plans renew monthly or annually and are billed in advance until cancelled.
• We will give at least 30 days’ notice before a price change affects your renewal.
• Prices may exclude applicable taxes, including GST.
• Cancellations and refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

We use trusted infrastructure providers to operate Droppnotes and may let you connect optional services such as Slack. Your use of a third-party service is governed by its own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or websites.

The Service, software, design, wordmark, and branding are owned by Greyfeathers Studios Pvt Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; they do not transfer ownership to you.

• You may stop using Droppnotes and delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, security risk, or legal requirement.
• Where practical, we will notify you and provide a reasonable opportunity to export your data.
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that every screenshot will be pixel-perfect across every browser and website.

To the extent permitted by law, Greyfeathers Studios Pvt Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability for claims related to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months or ₹5,000.

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We will update the date above and notify you when a change is material. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located at the registered office of Greyfeathers Studios Pvt Ltd.
